Space Dander is a large group, local multiplayer game that lets players each control characters of a Unity game instance with their own mobile devices. This was a rapidly prototyped experiment in emergent gameplay, investigating how players behave when asked to simultaneously control an avatar. It was inspired by Loren and Rachel Carpenter’s PONG game at SIGGRAPH ‘91.
